A46 was born from a discovery and a desire to bring life back to a historic house and transform it into a vibrant, inspiring space. The story of the painter who lived here, the presence of the cultural and artistic avant-garde of the last century, the bohemian spirit, are narrative threads that have been reborn in the form of a house of memorable moments. We are located in the only pre-war villa in the Filipescu Parceling, carefully restored and transformed into a welcoming, urban and versatile setting. Every corner of the house and garden is designed to create meaningful moments, whether it's a business meeting, family party or weekend brunch.
We focus on details that matter: good food, made with respect for taste and freshness, carefully curated wines, and a team that's with you from the first idea to the last toast. A46 means balance between elegant and relaxed, between personal and professional, a space that molds to your story.

A House with Soul, a Place with Purpose
The A46 story begins with a villa built in 1915 by architect Augustus Schmiedigen, for the daughter of a nobleman from Vrancea - a Paris-educated painter who dreamed of a place dedicated to beauty and creativity. With high salons, abundant natural light and a shady garden, the villa was for decades an artistic refuge for the interwar avant-garde, hosting memorable evenings with people like Milița Petrașcu or Constantin Brâncuși.
After years of silence, we felt this place deserved to live again, to become the space where stories are rewritten, and people gather with purpose. That's how A46 appeared: a project that preserves the soul of the house and translates it into a contemporary experience.
Today, A46 is a living space, open every day, for a good morning coffee, weekend brunch, relaxed dinner or meaningful event. It's a harmonious mix between past and present, between the calm of the green garden and city dynamics, between discrete elegance and community energy. A46 isn't just a location. It's a state of mind, born from a house with history and grown with care for details, taste and people.
